For Finance & CFOs
The people numbers add up before you close.
Finance rarely doubts that HR admin costs money — it just never appears as a line. Otto does that work: it screens, drafts, prepares the pay run and files the record, then brings each action to a person to approve. What is left on your side is headcount, payroll and time off sitting on one set of records you can read without asking anyone.

Why Otto
Where the payroll number comes from.
01
Admin you already pay for
Payroll prep, filings and document-chasing get paid every month in salaried hours. Otto does that work, and the hours come back.
02
A pay run assembled from approved data
Approved time off, attendance and positions feed each cycle — nothing re-keyed. A completed run locks and exports as CSV.
03
Controls that hold without a policy memo
Otto prepares, a person approves. Role-based access, salary history, and an audit log of who changed what, when.
What's inside
The numbers, and the trail behind them.
Pay runs that start prepared
Open a cycle and the people, positions and approved time off are already in it. You review the figures rather than rebuild them, and completing the run locks what was paid.

Leave balances that stay current
Policies set allowance and carry-over, and balances move the moment a request is approved — so unused leave is a number you can read in March, not one reconstructed in December.

Headcount without asking HR
Headcount, new joiners, who is on leave now, average tenure and leave days by policy — the volume behind the payroll line, current whenever you open it.
Company overview
This monthAn audit trail by default, not by project
A log of sensitive changes, salary history on the employee record, and access that follows each person's role. Nothing has to be switched on before someone asks for it.

Frequently asked questions
Payroll software starts once someone delivers it the data. Otto holds the records a pay run is made of — employees, positions, salaries, approved time off and attendance — so the run is assembled from what was already approved, and the number and the trail behind it live in the same place.
Yes. The workforce view reports headcount, new joiners, who is on leave now, average tenure and leave days by policy, and employee records carry salary history. Access follows the role each person is given in the workspace.
No. Otto screens, drafts, computes and prepares, but the act that changes a person's pay, record or offer is taken by a human. Those actions are written to an audit log, and a completed pay run is locked against further edits.
Plans are published on the pricing page — monthly or yearly, each including a stated number of employees, with extra capacity as a paid add-on. You can start without a credit card, and larger organisations are quoted directly.
