Agentic payroll, human-approved
Otto computes gross to net. You approve the payroll.
Classic payroll software hands you an empty table and expects you to know the tax, the exemption, the ceiling. In Otto HR the current parameters live inside the program: open a pay period and SGK premiums, unemployment insurance, income and stamp tax, the cumulative tax base and the minimum-wage exemptions unfold line by line, in the layout of the classic Turkish bordro table. A wage below the minimum is flagged, earnings above the ceiling are marked. A person always has the final say.

Why Otto
Otto tracks the parameters. Otto lays out the math. The sign-off stays yours.
01
The statute lives in the program
Employee and employer SGK premiums, unemployment insurance, income and stamp tax, the Law 7349 minimum-wage exemptions and total employer cost are computed in one table. The cumulative income-tax base carries itself month to month — tracking the bracket change is no longer your job.
02
Connected to leave, hours and records
Payroll is not a separate program: the salary reference comes from the employee's record, approved leave from the leave records, worked hours from attendance. When you open a period, every row arrives with its references. Take the suggestion with one click — the final figure is still yours.
03
A closed period stays closed
A completed payroll locks, and figures never change quietly afterwards. A correction means cancelling the run and opening a new one — and it leaves a trace. Payslips appear in the employee portal, and the export leaves as CSV.
How it works
Open the period, watch the math unfold, keep the approval.
The period assembles itself
Add the team by unit or one by one. Each employee's salary reference, approved leave and worked hours sit beside their row. An approved day off never reads as an absence, and someone who left mid-month can still be added to the same period for their final payroll.

Gross to net, line by line
Pick the direction: gross-to-net or net-to-gross. Deductions, exemptions, net pay and employer cost unfold for every row in the classic bordro layout. A wage below the minimum is flagged and earnings above the SGK ceiling are marked — the checks inform you, they never block your run.
Company overview
This monthApproved means closed
When you check the numbers and complete the payroll, the period locks: no row can be edited afterwards, and a correction means cancelling and rebuilding. Who closed the period, and when, is always on record.

Payslips find their place
Every period is kept and searchable: type a name and the person's past payrolls come back with their payslips attached. Employees see their own payslips in the portal, and the export your accountant needs leaves as CSV.

Frequently asked questions
Bordro is the Turkish payslip — and bordro software is where salaries are computed from gross to net, statutory deductions such as SGK premiums and income and stamp tax are itemized with the current legal parameters, and payslips are produced. Otto HR is the agentic version: the math arrives prepared on current parameters, anomalies are flagged, and a person always approves and closes the payroll.
In practice, no — both name software doing the same job. Bordrolama names the process (computing the wage, itemizing the deductions, producing the slip), while a bordro program is the tool that runs it. In Otto HR that process does not stand alone: it works connected to the leave, attendance and employee records on the same platform.
Set up properly, it is safer than a program installed on a single PC. In Otto HR, data is kept private to your company and separated at the database layer. Who can access what is role-based, and everything that touches payroll is on the record. The everyday meaning of online is simpler still: your payroll is not locked to one office computer, and the backup is not your responsibility.
The full classic gross-to-net table: gross salary, the employee SGK premium, unemployment insurance, income tax, stamp tax, the cumulative income-tax base, the minimum-wage income and stamp tax exemptions, net pay, the employer SGK premium, the employer's unemployment share and total employer cost. Net-to-gross works in the same layout. To check a single salary quickly, you can also use the free gross-to-net calculator on this site.
The scope is precise: with your e-bildirge connection, Otto HR prepares the SGK hire and termination filings (işe giriş / işten çıkış), and sending always passes through a person's approval. Periodic declarations such as the monthly premium and service statement are out of scope — they stay with your accountant's process, and Otto HR's CSV export carries the data into it.
